Dylan Price is a PhD researcher at the University of Oxford. His work tackles problems of global instability, economic volatility, and war. He has particular knowledge of emotions’ role in forming nationalist and other populist movements, studying their impact on domestic politics, international markets, and international relations.
Price’s prior training at Cambridge was musicological, one of the few fields that analyses emotions seriously—however, combining this training with expertise and experience in politics, including sustained work with UK local government, he now seeks to examine emotions’ role in national and global conflict more broadly.
