Isobel Squire

Isobel Squire is a PhD student in Global Politics at the department for Global Political Studies at Malmö University. She holds a MA in Development and International Relations, with a specialization in Global Gender Studies from Aalborg University.

Her research interests include gender and right-wing populism, illiberalism, and the contestation of gender and sexual equality norms. Currently, she is working on her PhD that aims to explore gender in global politics, more specifically the emergence of anti-gender and anti-LGBTQI discourse as opposition to gender and sexual equality rights norms.
