Lara Greening

Lara Greening is currently pursuing a research master’s degree at the University of Cambridge, working with the Political Psychology laboratory and the El-Erian Institute of Behavioural Economics and Policy. Her research interests focus on the role of polarization and socio-political beliefs in political consumer behavior. Lara graduated with first-class honors in Psychology and Behavioral Science from the University of Cambridge. Her undergraduate dissertation explored the role of democratic compliance in within-party political polarization within the African National Congress of South Africa. With funding from the Economic and Social Research Council, Lara aims to begin her PhD studies in October 2024, delving into populism through the lenses of political psychology, behavioral economics, and policy. She has also held research assistant positions and conducted data analysis for communications agencies. Lara is actively engaged in advanced forms of data analysis, including clustering and multiple imputations by chained equations. Email: ljg61@cam.ac.uk
