Sulagna Pal

Sulagna Pal is a Ph.D. candidate in the Philosophy Department at the University of Delhi. She served as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi, from July 2017 to March 2023. She earned her M.Phil. degree in Philosophy, specializing in Environmental Ethics, from Delhi University in 2016.

Her research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including ethics, meta-ethics, normative ethics, applied ethics, Buddhism, and philosophy of religion. Sulagna participated in the International Conference of Philosophy held at the Philosophy Department, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2013. Her attendance was supported by a Travel and Maintenance Grant from the Indian Council of Social Science Research. She also took part in a Buddhist Conference held in Sri Lanka in the same year.

Sulagna has an impressive record of published papers in various journals. She is the author of a book focusing on concerns for future generations, which delves into issues related to the gendered body and environmental pluralism. The book was published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany.
