Dr. Angelos Chryssogelos

Dr. Angelos Chryssogelos is Reader in Politics and International Relations at London Metropolitan University. He earned his PhD from the European University Institute in 2012. He has held positions at LSE, King’s College London, Harvard and SAIS Johns Hopkins. His research focuses on impact of ideologies and party politics on international relations and foreign policy, with a particular interest in the impact of populism on national foreign policies and the international order. His academic articles have appeared in, among others, International Affairs, Journal of Common Market Studies, European Union Politics, International Studies Review and Politics. He is the author of Party Systems and Foreign Policy Change in Liberal Democracies (Routledge, 2021).
