Dr. Khudhair Abbas Hussein Al-Dahlaki

Dr. Khudhair Abbas Hussein Al-Dahlaki is a political scientist specializing in European politics, populism, and security policymaking. He earned his PhD in Political Science from Al-Nahrain University (2023) with a dissertation titled “European Right-Wing Populist Parties in Security Policymaking: The French National Rally Party and the Italian Northern League (2014–2021)”. He also holds an MA in Political Science from Al-Mustansiriya University (2019), where he examined “The Phenomenon of Islamophobia and Its Impact on European Political Systems: France and Britain as a Model,” and a BA in Political Science from the University of Baghdad (1989).

Dr. Al-Dahlaki’s research explores themes of right-wing populism, Islamophobia, European security policy, and comparative political systems. He is the author of two books — The Phenomenon of Islamophobia and Its Impact on European Political Systems: France and Britain as a Model (Dar Amjad, 2020) and European Right-Wing Populism and Security Policies: Vision, Role, and Impact (Al-Shamel Publishing, 2024). His scholarly work has appeared in the Journal of Political Science Research at Al-Mustansiriya University.
